By donating to the Champions for Life Foundation, you’re changing thousands of children's lives, supporting schools to become more active and helping break the cycle of childhood inactivity, especially for vulnerable communities.
Thank you for giving children the opportunities and tools they need to be active for life. You can also significantly impact the long-term of our work by spreading your generosity throughout the year.
Would you consider a monthly donation?
Even small gifts add up to helping us to carry out our mission every day.
Yes. Donations made through www.canadahelps.org, or through one of CanadaHelps’ software tools for charities (excluding Ticketed Events) or business partners, are legally made to CanadaHelps CanaDon, a charity registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (Registration Number: 896568417RR0001), and CanadaHelps CanaDon issues the official tax receipt.
A confirmation email is sent out as soon as the donation is processed. This confirmation email will list the donation amount, the name of the recipient charity, as well as your tax receipt. For monthly donors, you will have a choice if you’d like to receive a confirmation email when the transaction is processed. If there are errors with monthly donations (ie declined credit card) an email will be sent notifying you as the donor that the gift has not been processed.
For multiple monthly donations, a confirmation email will be sent for your donation(s) to each charity.
The minimum donation amount required in order to receive a tax receipt is $3.00
CanadaHelps accepts international donations, but the donations will always be processed in Canadian currency. For example, if you donate $50, your card will be charged 50 Canadian dollars, and your financial institution will make the conversion to your local currency, based on the current exchange rate. Please note that CanadaHelps is a Canadian charity and only issues Canadian tax receipts.
The Champions for Life Foundation is changing children's lives by providing opportunities to strengthen their movement skills and break the cycle of childhood inactivity, especially for those living in vulnerable communities.
