How to play:

  1. This activity is based on the song “12 Days of Christmas”. The number of the day of FITMAS coordinates with how many repetitions are to be done for each activity.
  2. Using colourful markers (e.g. different coloured cones or poly spots) outline a large circle in the centre of the activity space.
  3. There should be 1 marker per child.
  4. Children stand near their own marker.
  5. On your command, children jog once around the circle and return to their marker.
  6. Once everyone is back at their marker they do 1 repetition of the first activity.
  7. They then do another lap around the circle, return to their marker and do 2 repetitions of the second activity on the list.
  8. This pattern continues until they have done all 12 FITMAS activities.
  9. Play the “12 Days of Christmas” song during the activity.
